Ice Analytics is dedicated to the development of theoretical and statistical applications to the game of hockey (among other sports). So much of hockey is quantifiable and available because of the dedicated hockey stats community (such as Evolving-Hockey, Corsica and Natural Stat Trick). This data provides us with additional insights that can be used to evaluate the game like never before.
Ice Analytics was founded by Matthew Arp, a Ph.D graduate (in Political Science) from West Virginia University. His other research interests include great power conflict and international norm creation.
